Empire Investigation LLC uses a multi-method approach to hidden camera detection: RF spectrum scanning to find wirelessly transmitting cameras, optical lens detection to locate camera lenses using specialized infrared illuminators regardless of whether the camera is transmitting, and thorough physical inspection of all objects and fixtures in the sweep area. The optical lens detector is critical — it identifies the glass lens of a camera even when the device is powered off and transmitting nothing.
