On January 13th, 2016, with wind chill temperatures in the negatives, Empire Investigation LLC CEO Robert Kresson teamed up with "Models to Role Models" founder and top model Soigne Legacy, along with local IFBB fitness professional Rebecca Eger, to organize a warm clothing donation for Pittsburgh's homeless community.
Soigne Legacy created M2RM around a simple but powerful mission statement: "Be a light, not a judge. Be a model, not a critic." Her initiative bypasses stereotypes and puts compassion into direct action — and her partnership with Empire Investigation LLC brought that mission directly to some of Pittsburgh's most vulnerable neighborhoods.
According to a 2014 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report, more than 1,500 people in Pittsburgh experience homelessness, with over 100 completely unsheltered. Kresson, who has conducted surveillance in nearly every part of the city for more than 30 years, has seen firsthand what these communities face — and he's committed to doing something about it.
"By helping to organize this cause, Kresson hopes to raise awareness for these struggling communities, unite the city to combat homelessness, and set an example for the country to follow."
The drive was part of Empire's ongoing "Acts of Kindness" philanthropy program, which challenges people worldwide to commit random acts of kindness, upload them, and compete for a monthly $100 prize — with the top 12 acts voted on for a year-end grand prize.
