Rebecca Eger, a Pittsburgh native, single mother of two, and proud grandmother, has spent the last decade proving that age is just a number. In 2013, after years of competing in fitness competitions, she earned her IFBB Pro Athlete card — a remarkable achievement that placed her among the elite in her sport. Now she's competing in the finals of the 2015 Miss Jetset Magazine Cover Model Contest, one of the most prestigious lifestyle competitions in the country.
Jetset Magazine — whose covers have featured Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry, Kathy Ireland, and Melania Trump — selects its cover model through a national competition that begins at the state level. Rebecca won the state of Pennsylvania out of over 100 competitors, and is currently ranked 2nd in the national finals, competing against entrants from every state and one international contestant. The finals close December 10, 2015.
"Winning this contest would prove that age is just a number and you should never let anything hold you back."
If Rebecca wins, she has pledged to donate $10,000 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society — a cause deeply personal to her following recent losses within her family and close circle of friends. Local Pittsburgh businesses, including Empire Investigation LLC, have pledged to match her donation, doubling the impact for this critical cause.
Rebecca was recently featured on Bubba Show 100.7 STAR FM and calls in each Monday to update listeners on her standings. Public voting is open — every vote counts, once every 24 hours.
